i think sight beyond sight was nerfed cuz rawr got owned by it in the at and izzy coincidentally saw the skill and was like OMGWTFBBQ NERFBATZ. didnt see it used that much outside of the match but thats jsut me.

Did not see rawr playing. If they had any strategy that relied heavily on blindness, it was doomed for sure.

Without enchantment mod it was 12/15 seconds, with it was 14/15. This makes Blinder Elementalists useless.

Plus it is a ritualist secondary, great for DP signet or Flesh of my Flesh, Rits have great rez spells.


Given that, we can wonder why he actually buffed it before.

I saw Andrew say in another thread "give a list of skills you think still need looking at and i will forward them to izzy". One of those skills got looked at. Again, GJ on balancing.

Why don't they just give up altogether?

Some other thought about FEAR ME.
OK, it could be spammend and caused problems, something had to be done.

But do you think the skill is still viable now? I fear it got totally destroyed.

Adding a recharge of 4 seconds to GFTE and WY hurt both skills. Recharge is a serious limiter for adrenaline based skills, and Izzy seems to have learnt to love it. But "Fear Me" got a 6 second recharge. 6 seconds without adrenaline gain for the skill, after that you still need to charge it up. Which is not really a problem with FGJ.

Is 6 seconds not a bit too much? Would 4 not be sufficient?

I personally don't mind the recharge too much (it just prevents spamming of the skill), but I agree that adrenaline should allowed to be charged during the recharge period, so the skill is available the second the recharge period is over.

Its recharge matches that of Steady Stance, which instapowers it anyway. It essentially is ready right after the recharge ends.

Does anyone really dislike that a skill only useful in gimmicks was nerfed? :/

Sight beyond sight nerf was totally unneeded they made it a usefull (not overpowered) skill then 3 days later killed it?? WTF? It was fun to run a derv for 3 days without having to use Melandru though.
